PorterSanfordReid reunion this past weekend, I have never experienced with our reunion. Parking, no validation! Hotel was too expensive along with the registration fee that's why the attendance was so LOW. Hotel had flying net issues, need zero flying insect trap. I notice the food servers were getting tired of them. The restroom on the first floor was out of order the housekeeping person told me "im to lazy to put a sign up".
My question at the banquet was do we have a budget? The answer was "no". I would like to see a complete financial report. Moving forward each year we should get a financial statement with our package. Oh my goodness the picture taken was a fiasc…
The 52nd Annual Family Reunion turned out really well. I'd like to be a part of the planning committee for the 53rd - Sharron Ward (Alice has my email). I'd like to make a recommendation for the registration bag for next year - a detailed itinerary with day, time and location for each event/downtime so that the attendees may plan their days. This is vacation for a lot of families, so I believe this will be helpful. For example - location room, day, start and end time for registration day (s); same for family night, any tours, dinner, and breakfast.
